Honored to Represent Forward Recovery

Today, I had the privilege of visiting Disability Rights California at their downtown Los Angeles office, located at 888 W 6th Street. I joined Vanessa Ramos and Robert Reyes, alongside my colleague Blake Perkins for a powerful conversation centered on lived experience, access to addiction treatment, and the ongoing challenges surrounding housing.

As a Business Development and Clinical Outreach Coordinator at Forward Recovery, I’m deeply committed to bridging the gap between marginalized communities and quality care. Our dialogue emphasized the importance of advocacy, collaboration, and real-world solutions to ensure that no one is left behind—especially those battling substance use and systemic barriers.

Representing both lived experience and Forward Recovery’s mission, our Clinical Outreach Coordinator, Brian Kealty, is honored to have a seat at the table.

These roundtable discussions shape real policy and planning that impact how care is delivered across Los Angeles.
