RNPC members and retirees advocated for LA homeless today at the REFRESH SPOT (a community center where the homeless can shower, wash clothes, and charge their cell phones) by passing out brand new, beautiful and warm blankets, food, and water

•Draft of County Policy introduced
•Draft of employee application introduced

2) RELIEF NURSE WAGE RATES INCREASE and $250 BONUS
•Corrections to rate pending
•County CEO has not determined if the $250 will be paid
•GGIC filed 4/4/19 remains in motion

3) DHS SPECIALTY/BOARD CERTIFICATION REIMBURSEMENT (UP TO $500)
•Draft of County Policy introduced
•Draft of employee application introduced
•Meanwhile, hold on to your receipts

4) DHS APRN CME TIME REQUEST

5) NP STEP ACCELERATOR (AUGUST 2018 SETTLEMENT)

A CALL TO ACTION❣️
Next week, on MAY 15th at 0900 we will go to our bosses, the Board of Supervisors (BOS) to request a speedy process and a timeline in delivering our gained benefits.

Please join us❣️ If only 5 out of 7100+ LAC RNs/APRNs show up then the message will be that 7095+ are perfectly fine with the status quo.

For the past six months a few of us on the BC have responded to a multitude of inquiries, frustrations, or simply venting regarding County’s delay in rendering our 2018 MOU Contract benefits.

NOW is the time to LET YOUR VOICE BE HEARD and express your array of concerns with County’s process in delivering the goods.

Remember, other than the scheduled May 21st BOS signing of the letter to convert bonuses into a salary scale there is “no timeline/date” per County CEO during RNTF meeting on 5/2/19.

If you work night shift or it is your RDO please make every effort to come and represent❣️ Any day shift folks that can request a couple of hours off, please do so.
