How do I know your neck injury level just by touching your hand?

Does C6 or C7 control your triceps? It's the C7!

We use Dermatomes (sensation) and Myotomes (strength) to map nerve function.

C8 handles the little finger/grip.

When the pain matches the map, surgery is precise! Knowing the anatomy is everything.

Does this thumb look unusually long to you?

It’s not a camera trick!

A normal thumb only has two bones. This one has THREE!

It’s a rare condition called a Triphalangeal Thumb. That extra bone makes the thumb look and act just like a finger.

While it looks unique, it actually causes problems. The extra length weakens your pinch strength and reduces fine motor control because the thumb loses its natural stability.

If it affects your hand function, we can correct it surgically to restore normal mechanics!

Got bone-on-bone shoulder pain? Time for a full rebuild!

Total Shoulder Replacement removes the bad joint parts.

We put a metal stem and ball in your arm bone, and a new socket in your shoulder blade.

We test it to make sure it moves perfectly before you wake up!

Why is the subacromial decompression step so important for the long-term success of the repair?

The Mini-Open Repair is a hybrid approach!

We use the arthroscope to clean up the joint and remove bone spurs from the acromion (decompression).

If the tear is large, we then make a small open incision to use strong anchors and sutures to reattach the tendon firmly to the bone.

This combination gives us the best view and strongest repair for complex tears.

Why does your shoulder make a grinding sound when you move it?

Is this condition caused only by getting older?

NO!

That grating sound is bone-on-bone friction due to lost cartilage (Osteoarthritis).

It's caused by aging, yes, but also injury or overuse! The body tries to fix it by growing bone spurs.

We use shots and PT first!

Are all robots in knee surgery the same? Absolutely not!

Mako requires a CT scan for its plan. ROSA, VELYS, and CORI use real-time mapping—no CT needed!

They all improve precision, but the surgeon's hands and decision-making are still the most important part of the operation.

Choose your surgeon carefully!

Does your shoulder have a massive tear?

Is the surgery done through big cuts?

NO!

We fix the Rotator Cuff Tear arthroscopically (tiny holes + camera).

We remove bone from the acromion to stop pinching, and we use sutures and anchors to reattach the tendon.

Then, it's sling time, followed by lots of PT!

Did you know infected bones can be treated with medicated beads?

This treatment is essential when standard antibiotics can't reach the infection! 🤯

What happens if loose fragments of tendon are found during surgery?

Even large tears can be fixed arthroscopically (tiny openings/camera).

The surgeon first removes damaged tissue and debris.

Then, the tendon is reattached with strong anchors and sutures.

If the tear is massive, a small open incision might be needed, but the principle remains the same: secure fixation and dedicated physical therapy are the only paths to full recovery.
