Discussion:

When your RESPITE or PERSONAL ATTENDANT CARE providers work on their shift, they are not required to "clean" the house, kitchen, do laundry OUTSIDE of their shift hours or at all, since they are not "MAIDS"/housekeepers for the family.
This is an ABUSE that is happening by Regional Center clients and parents, especially of ADULT REGIONAL CENTER clients and their parents. What has been your experience with this?

Looking for non native English language speaking parents of kids on IEP to talk to an EdSource reporter about having had delays in getting IEPs or assessments translated. The reporter is more interested in hearing the problems with translation delays and how that affected them. Have parent send email to educateadvocateca@educateadvocateca.com if they can speak to reporter with their name and phone number. Reporter speaks Spanish as well.

Buscamos padres que no hablen inglés como lengua materna con niños que tengan un IEP para hablar con un periodista de EdSource sobre haber tenido retrasos en la traducción de los IEP o las evaluaciones. El periodista está más interesado en escuchar los problemas con los retrasos en la traducción y cómo eso los afectó. Por favor, pida a los padres que nos envíen un correo electrónico a educateadvocateca@educateadvocateca.com si pueden hablar con el periodista con su nombre y número de teléfono. El periodista también habla español.
