Might get heat for saying this…

But it’s still true.

I made this video almost 4 years ago, and while a LOT has changed in the parenting space, this hasn’t:

👉 your baby needs sleep

And sometimes… the “help” we’re giving isn’t actually helping.

Sometimes parents just need permission to try something different.

Because your baby may want to learn how to sleep independently —
and when they do, their sleep is often so much better.

This isn’t selfish.
This isn’t detached.
This isn’t unnatural.

This is understanding your baby’s needs…
and meeting them in a way that actually works.

If you’re ready to learn more, comment READY and we’ll talk 💬

If your baby’s sleep feels like a moving target… it’s not random.

It’s usually a mix of:
→ inconsistent mornings
→ misaligned naps
→ late-day sleep
→ and unpredictable overnight responses

And the result?
Short naps. Night wakings. Bedtime battles.

The fix isn’t more guessing — it’s a clear, consistent plan.

That’s exactly what I teach inside my Baby Sleep Trainer Program so you can stop troubleshooting sleep every single day.

👇 What’s the hardest part of your baby’s sleep right now?

Babies under 4 months are not ready for sleep training. Their sleep cycles, feeding needs, and neurological development simply aren’t there yet.

Which means your job right now is much simpler than the internet makes it seem.

Get sleep when you can.
Help your baby sleep however they safely can.
Keep them growing and thriving.

Hold them. Rock them. Let them nap on you. Let them sleep in the carrier. Let them need you.

These early months are survival mode, not sleep training boot camp.

And the good news?
Once baby is developmentally ready, you’ll have plenty of time to build healthy sleep routines and independent sleep skills.

If you’d like gentle strategies that can help newborns get longer stretches of sleep (without stressing you out), I walk you through them inside my Newborn Sleep Program.

You’re doing better than you think. 🤍

Hot take that will absolutely ruffle registry feathers 👀

You do NOT need a perfectly stocked nursery or every viral baby gadget before your baby arrives.

Because here’s the truth nobody tells you:
👉 you don’t know your baby yet
👉 you don’t know your preferences yet
👉 and babies are wildly opinionated tiny humans

Buy the true essentials so you feel prepared…and then learn your baby once you’re home living real life together.

This saves money, overwhelm, and a graveyard of unused baby products hiding in your closet. Trust me — Amazon will still exist after your baby is born 😌

Tell me: what’s one baby item you bought that your baby absolutely rejected?

Dropping from 4 naps to 3 around 4 months feels scary, but it’s actually a necessary step for better sleep.

Babies at this age are capable of longer wake times, and when we cling to extra naps out of fear, we often sabotage bedtime instead.

More naps ≠ better sleep.
Age-appropriate nap schedule = better sleep.

Night sleep is the priority…always. 🌙

The fastest way to ruin a vacation?
Arriving and discovering… there’s no crib. 😬

But don’t panic — you’ve got options:
✔️ Rent a real crib locally
✔️ Bring a Pack ’n Play + SlumberPod
✔️ Buy a cheap crib on Facebook Marketplace and donate it afterward

Whatever keeps your baby sleeping safely (and everyone else functioning) is worth it.
Plan ahead, protect the sleep, and enjoy your trip. ✨

Parents often try to tackle overnight sleep alone, hoping naps will “figure themselves out” or they’ll “get to it later when baby is more ready.”

Here’s the hot take: they won’t. 😬

Daytime sleep drives nighttime sleep - ignore it at your own risk.

Want real results? Train both *at the same time*. The whole 24-hour system.
