During this stressful time is easy to forget about your wellbeing. One of the things that gets affected by stress is our scalp. It can cause sensitivity, tightness or even itchiness on the scalp. A wonderful plant to use to reduce inflammation like this is Aloe Vera. I know people hear this a lot from us but we truly swear by Aloe Vera. It is know to reduce these symptoms. Echinacea is an amazing herb that is usually used to combat flu and colds. You can find this at pharmacies, health shops, and online. It comes in a tea, liquid extracts, a dried herb, and as a capsule of pills. ⁣

It is promotes the boost in your immune system. Echinacea has a complex mix of active substances, some of which are said to be antimicrobial. It also contains alkylamides or alkamides which have an effect on the immune system. ⁣

Not only does lavender oil smell amazing but it is also beneficial for your scalp. It has antimicrobial properties and it can be used to combat bacterial and fungal disorders. Lavender oil helps reduce dandruff and neutralizes odors. Our favorite reason to use this besides the amazing smell is that it is very calming, which is great for stress reduction.⠀
