Most people think nervous system regulation means “calming down.” Instread, think about it as increasing your capacity.
When your nervous system is regulated, you digest better. You sleep better. You recover from stress more easily. You tolerate more responsibility without burnout. You stop living in survival mode.
Acupuncture is one of my favorite tools for nervous system regulation because it works directly with the autonomic nervous system by shifting the body out of chronic fight-or-flight and into repair mode.
So many other tools can help you, too: journaling, somatic therapy, intentional rest, boundary work, building a life that feels aligned.

If you’ve been feeling anxious, inflamed, exhausted, reactive, bloated, or wired-but-tired, it’s your sign to start with acupuncture.

Ear seeds are one of the simplest and most elegant tools in Traditional Chinese Medicine. I use them daily in my practice.

The ear is a microsystem, meaning the entire body is represented in miniature. With hundreds of mapped points, auriculoregular therapy allows us to influence pain pathways, digestion, hormones, and emotional regulation through precise stimulation of the ear, thanks to its connection to the nervous system via the auricular branch of the vagus nerve.

If you’re in LA, I’m teaching a hands-on ear seed workshop this Sunday for those who’d like to learn mapping and application. Ear seeds are also included in acupuncture treatments in my clinic upon prescription or request.

This is one of the lowest-effort changes I ask my patients to try, and the feedback is always interesting. I myself had a long history of IBS symptoms and “tried everything” before I found Chinese medicine, and switching to hot water made a HUGE difference for me.
Save this & try switching if you need help with digestion, energy, cramps, warmth — it is so easy and it really helps!

Lunar New Year 2026 begins on February 17 and marks the transition into the year of the Horse. Many traditions focus on clearing, resetting, and preparing your space and energy for the new year ahead. The closing stretch of the Snake year invites discernment — releasing relationships, habits, and clutter that no longer feel aligned so you can enter the Horse year with clarity and momentum ❤️

Acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine were carried here by immigrants and practiced within their own communities long before they were recognized or permitted by American medical institutions. I am forever grateful to the culture that developed this incredible medicine system and to the brave immigrants who brought it here so we can all benefit from it 🩵
