Thursday evenings, the sidewalk at Joshua House Health Center turns into something special. A small group from a local church sets up outside the clinic with hot dogs, clothing, and open hearts.
They laugh, pray, and listen to anyone who stops by—patients, neighbors, or people just passing through. In a city where so many feel invisible, this simple weekly outreach feels like loaves-and-fishes love: ordinary food, multiplied into dignity, connection, and hope right outside our doors. Like, share or text "Volunteer" to 855-901-0508 to join us on Good Friday in Skid Row to wash the feet of our neighbors as an act of kindness towards our brothers and sisters in need. We are seeking 20 volunteers to wash feet, greet, carry water and fellowship on Friday, April 3rd, 10 am - 3pm. Act now to make a difference! Register now for all the details.

🌟 Healing Trauma Together: A Circle of Women Supporting Women 🌟

Thanks to a generous grant from Cedars-Sinai LACHC is proud to offer a new in-person support group for women impacted by sexual trauma every Tuesday at Joshua House.

Our **Healing Trauma Together** circle launched today... it's a safe, compassionate space where women come together to share, process past wounds, learn coping skills, and uplift one another on the path to healing. ❤️

THANKFUL THURSDAY!!
We’re thrilled to announce that Los Angeles Christian Health Centers has received a generous $90,000 grant from Cedars-Sinai!**
This funding will help us expand engagement with women experiencing homelessness in Skid Row, focusing on reproductive health and trust-building strategies.

Through this support, we’ll strengthen outreach, provide safe spaces for healing, and increase access to vital health services like STI/HIV testing, contraceptives, and more.
