Los Angeles Christian Health Centers Our mission is to show God's love by providing quality, comprehensive healthcare to the homeless and underserved in Los Angeles.

The Los Angeles Christian Health Centers is a Federally Qualified Health Center that provides medical, dental, and mental health services at 2 fixed-site clinics (Joshua House Clinic and Pico Aliso Community Clinic) and 12 part-time satellite sites located in partner agencies. Joshua House Clinic is located in the heart of Skid Row in downtown Los Angeles and Pico Aliso Community Clinic is located in Boyle Heights.

✔️5.7M were treated for high blood pressure — 65% achieved blood pressure control

Today marks the 60th anniversary of Medicaid. On July 30, 1965, President Lyndon B. Johnson signed this historic legislation into law, expanding access to health care for millions of low-income individuals and families.

As President Johnson said that day, "We are here to affirm that this bill.. will help relieve the distress and the hardship of millions of our fellow Americans."

For 6 decades, Medicaid has been a lifeline—protecting health, dignity, and opportunity. Here's to 60 years of progress and the work still ahead.
