Our mission is to show God's love by providing quality, comprehensive healthcare to the homeless and underserved in Los Angeles.

The Los Angeles Christian Health Centers is a Federally Qualified Health Center that provides medical, dental, and mental health services at 2 fixed-site clinics (Joshua House Clinic and Pico Aliso Community Clinic) and 12 part-time satellite sites located in partner agencies. Joshua House Clinic is located in the heart of Skid Row in downtown Los Angeles and Pico Aliso Community Clinic is located in Boyle Heights.

With a 9.5% drop, we’re seeing real change. 💪 Los Angeles Christian Health Centers plays a crucial role in this effort by offering healthcare and resources that help individuals transition off the streets and into stable housing. The connection between healthcare and housing is vital, especially as we face potential federal cuts to medical care. We must advocate for continued support to sustain this progress!

For the second year in a row, homelessness has declined in LA County, with a 4% drop overall! 🙌 This progress is a testament to the hard work of organizations like Los Angeles Christian Health Centers, which provide vital health services and support to those experiencing homelessness. Access to healthcare is crucial for successful housing transitions, but pending federal cuts to medical care could jeopardize these essential services. Together, we can continue to make a difference!

We are thrilled to announce that Dr. Sarah Houssayni has joined Los Angeles Christian Health Centers as our new Chief Medical Officer! With over 22 years of experience as a pediatrician, Dr. Sarah brings a wealth of knowledge and a strong commitment to servant leadership.

Most recently, Dr. Sarah served as the Site Medical Director at AltaMed’s Goodrich Commerce site, the busiest location in the nation’s largest Federally Qualified Health Center. During her 3 years there, she provided exceptional care to underserved children in East Los Angeles and successfully led a multidisciplinary team of 25–30 providers across Pediatrics, Women’s Health, and Urgent Care. Her leadership was characterized by a deep commitment to prioritizing patients and empowering providers to deliver compassionate, high-quality care.

We are excited to welcome Dr. Sarah to our LACHC family and look forward to the positive impact she will have on our mission and the communities we serve. Please join us in giving her a warm welcome as she embarks on this new chapter with us!

As new state and federal proposals threaten Medi-Cal coverage, thousands of vulnerable Angelenos, including many undocumented residents living on Skid Row, are at risk of losing critical healthcare access.

At Angeles Christian Health Centers, care teams meet patients where they are, providing life-saving medical, dental, and mental health services. But proposed cuts would put this safety net in jeopardy.
