Pressure! Not good in life, but so important in herb preparation. This is one of the machines we use to prepare herbal formulas into teas. Because the herbs are extracted into water under high pressure, none of the volatile oils are able to escape into steam. All the good stuff goes right into the tea! Herbal medicine is a great treatment option for babies with eczema!
These photos show one of our patients whose skin is healing after just two weeks using herbal remedies. He soaks in a bath infused with herb teas, then uses an herbal salve and cream. We recommend internal herbs for adults, but use topical herb protocols for babies and infants.
When babies stop itching and sleep better once their eczema has calmed down, the whole family gets much needed relief!
