Globally, ending HIV means addressing the inequalities that drive the epidemic. Children and adolescent girls and young women face heightened vulnerabilities, particularly across the Africa region. And key populations including men who have s*x with men, trans and gender diverse people, people who use drugs, s*x workers and people in prisons in all regions face increased HIV risk.

Protecting rights and ensuring access to services for everyone is essential to stopping new infections and achieving health equity.

A more severe strain of mpox, formerly known as monkeypox, has quietly appeared in California, and for the first time, the infections weren’t brought here by travelers.

For the nation’s LGBTQ+ communities, the news is unsettling not only because of what it says about the virus, but also because of what it reveals about a public health system in crisis.

Unlike the version of the virus that spread around the world in 2022, this one has had more severe outcomes.

🌟 Protect Yourself with Doxy PEP! 🌟

Did you know there’s a new way to prevent certain s*xually transmitted infections (STIs) before they start?

Doxy PEP (Doxycycline Post-Exposure Prophylaxis) is a medication that can help reduce your risk of chlamydia, gonorrhea, and syphilis when taken within 72 hours after unprotected s*x.

👉 It’s simple:

Take 200 mg of doxycycline as soon as possible (and no later than 72 hours after s*x).

It works best when used in addition to regular HIV prevention tools like PrEP or condoms.

This option is especially recommended for gay, bis*xual, and other men who have s*x with men, and transgender women who are at higher risk for bacterial STIs.

💬 Contact us to see if Doxy PEP is right for you!

Let’s keep the conversation going — protection is prevention. 💙
