May 31 2019 marked 10 years since my son Phillip passed away. It’s incredible how the time has past by while it still seems like last week he was here with me. It’s probably because he is always with me in Spirit
I spent that day doing what he would love... going to the SRF and seeing the ocean, visiting with a dear friend who made me smile, enjoying life even with its ups and downs. That’s what Phil did and I’m honored to have been his mother and to continue his legacy through his foundation.
I made up some “goodie bags” for the homeless and gave them away. The look on these folks faces Gave me such joy! That’s part of what we do at The Phillip C DeMars Foundation. Help those in need. Even the smallest gesture can mean the world to people who are really hurting. So if you have extra sundries you can put them in a bag and put them in your car so if you find someone in need of help, give and trust me you shall receive

So many of us miss our loved ones who have passed on... we can always honor their memories in service to others... even in the smallest of ways.

We are approaching the end of 2018. The Phillip C. DeMars Foundation would like to thank everyone who donated this year! If you haven’t had the chance to donate, please consider donating by 12/31/18 to help us bring music and art to children in underserved communities. PCDF thanks everyone who donated to the Facebook fund for Rebekah's birthday! Thanks to Facebook for donating and providing this opportunity. We will be gathering up X-mas baskets for the children at Children's Hospital LA and Trinity Boy Home this month and next. Please consider donating new unwrapped toys to PCDF.
