Located three and a half miles from the beach in the heart of West Los Angeles, The Canyon at Santa Monica provides an exquisite healing oasis for individuals seeking recovery in an outpatient setting. We engage the whole person in the healing process and extend an invitation for each client’s loved ones to be involved in treatment to build a solid foundation for lasting recovery. An expert team of caring professionals provides support, structure and hope for recovery from co-occurring addiction and mental health disorders. Every patient receives an individually tailored program to meet his or her unique needs through group and individual therapy, life skills classes and an integration of 12-Step principles. This multidisciplinary team meets weekly to monitor the individual’s progress and determine the next therapeutic phase. Today, we’re celebrating the social workers who show up every day with compassion, courage and the commitment to walk alongside people on their hardest days.

In dual‑diagnosis treatment, social workers are often the bridge—helping individuals navigate both mental health challenges and substance use disorders with dignity, hope and real support. Their work reminds us that healing isn’t one‑dimensional, and neither is the care people deserve.

Here’s to the advocates, the listeners, the problem‑solvers and the champions of whole‑person recovery. Thank you for all you do.
