Creating more space along ‘s spine. Longer hours of studying and reading has caused them a bit of immobility in the thoracic region. I focused on releasing his lower back tension to allow for more movement in his mid back.

Cool thing about cupping: it can give us additional information about where the main source of tension is happening. Those darker marks are indicative of deep tension in the lower thoracic and upper lumbar area.

This year has humbled me in ways that I can’t imagine. ⁣

A whole lotta tears watered this year.⁣

The deaths. Death of my paternal figure...deaths in our communities...death of the beautiful new office I poured my all into...death of how I thought this year would and should be...but also the death of old outdated ways...the death of walking by sight and not by faith...the death of false social veils. ⁣

Certainly someone(s) reading this can feel me. 🧿📿⁣

This year has reminded me of the mystical power intrinsic to death. When we slow down , release attachment, and listen with divine discipline we clear a path for purpose. ⁣
⁣
This year has gifted me support in ways beyond my prayers. It has granted me cultivation of spiritual discipline. This year has taught me that I’m stronger than I even imagined. This year has reminded me that God IS and that my ancestors are pleased. ⁣
⁣
A whole lotta tears watered this year. May these rains water all that is good, necessary, liberating, and exhilarating for us all. ⁣
