❤️ The Heart of TLC!

It’s been about 8 months since we last posted here.

Not because things have been quiet - quite the opposite.

Behind the scenes, we’ve been deeply focused on strengthening what matters most: high-quality, interdisciplinary pediatric therapies for the children and families we serve across Los Angeles County.

Over the past months our provider team has been carefully expanding with the addition of new programs and more hubs for was of access and reach in LA County - welcoming new referral partners aligned with our history and mission, deepening collaboration between providers, and building environments where care feels seamless, productive, and supportive for families.

Along the way, we’ve also continued nurturing the team spirit that makes TLC special - from Wellness Wednesdays and shared lunches, to interdisciplinary collaboration that happens every day during therapy sessions, caregiver conversations, hallways, conference meetings, and in our new village wing in such spaces like the feeding café

Sometimes the best way to share what we’ve been up to isn’t through us.

It’s through the authentic words by the families we serve.

During our February TLC wellness theme, one family chose to participate in our simple community wall at one of our hubs. Their message reminded us that sometimes the most genuine moments say more than any fancy post ever could.

All of the planning, collaboration, and long hours ultimately come down to this.

We ❤️ Our Pediatric Patients!

This past Friday, we had a heartwarming Valentine’s celebration as part of our February 360 theme: “Teach Your Child to Love.” 💕

A huge thank you to our amazing caregivers for joining in on the fun, dressing the part, and making these moments so special for our birth-to-5 kiddos. Your love and participation mean everything!

This September, TLC Pediatric Therapy is spotlighting the importance of sleep in our 360 Wellness theme! 🛏️

With the transition from summer break to school schedules, it’s an ideal time to emphasize the crucial role that quality sleep plays in health and development. Adequate sleep is essential for optimal cognitive function, boosting the immune system, and supporting emotional regulation in children and adults alike.

To promote better sleep, we recommend maintaining a consistent bedtime routine, creating a quiet and comfortable sleep environment, and minimizing screen time before bed. Prioritizing these simple steps can lead to deeper, more restorative sleep for the whole family.

Let’s prioritize sleep this month to support overall health and wellness! 💤

Apologies for the delay, but we were so engrossed in the joy of celebrating OT Month and Autism Acceptance Month that we completely lost track of time!

Stay tuned for some delightful snapshots from our Fun Friday last week, where we merged the enchantment of sensory bin exploration into a dynamic movement station for our families and kiddos. Everyone had a blast!

A heartfelt shoutout to our phenomenal OT team whose dedication seamlessly integrates into the remarkable work they do in nurturing the growth and happiness of our diverse pediatric populations, including our autistic kiddos. We’re immensely grateful for their tireless efforts! 🌟
