A first look of our EMS Week 2026 celebration across Alameda County 💙🚑

This week was filled with moments of recognition, connection, and appreciation for the people who show up every day to care for our communities. We’re honored to receive a proclamation from the Alameda County Board of Supervisors recognizing EMS Week and the dedication of EMS professionals across the region.

From visits at hospitals to time spent together at the hub and in the field, these moments reflect the teamwork, passion, and camaraderie that make our EMS family so special.

Another great weekend connecting with our community across Alameda County 💙🤠🚑

Our crews were proud to take part in the Rowell Ranch Rodeo Parade and the Castro Valley History Festival, sharing hands-only CPR, first aid, Stop the Bleed education, and ambulance tours with community members of all ages.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to learn more about emergency preparedness and the work our teams do every day to serve the community.

April in review with Alameda County 💙🚑

This month brought many moments worth celebrating, from our Winning Behaviors events recognizing the people and values that make our team strong, to another incredible Safe Kids Day at the Oakland Coliseum.

We loved connecting with families through helmet and booster seat fittings, hosting hands-only CPR, choking and Stop the Bleed education, ambulance tours, and sharing more about what we do through hands-on demos. Community moments like these are what make this work so meaningful.

Special shoutout to Kat for always welcoming us to this amazing day!

March in motion across Alameda County 🚑💙

From celebrating excellence at the Winning Behaviors Awards, to going behind the scenes with KTVU 2 as they followed Traci Schmidt in the field for International Women’s Day, this month was full of meaningful moments.

We celebrated together during St. Patrick’s Day, connected with our community at Oakland Roots game day, and stayed ready on the field to support players when it mattered most.

Every moment reflects who we are, showing up, serving our community, and turning care into action.
