Let me say this clearly:

I am not perfect. And I don’t expect you to be either.

During our recent move, my workouts stopped.
My running paused.
I stopped tracking my water and food.

And that was intentional.

That season required my energy elsewhere. The move was the priority, and I was okay with that.
This is something a lot of people miss:

Pausing is not quitting.
Losing focus is not failing.
Adjusting priorities does not erase who you are.

Health isn’t about rigid rules. It’s about knowing when to push and when to give yourself permission to shift.

Now that life is settling, my focus is shifting back too.
Not with guilt. Not with punishment.
Just with intention.

If you’ve had a season where things fell off, you’re not behind.
You’re human.

And you can always begin again.

Here’s What’s Actually Hard

Taking care of your body can be hard.
Eating well can be hard.
Moving consistently can be hard.

But so is feeling stuck in a body that doesn’t move the way you want it to.
So is low energy, lingering aches, and watching your confidence slowly fade.
So is knowing you’re capable of more, but not feeling like yourself anymore.

We all get to choose which “hard” we live with.

For me, I choose the hard that gives something back.

I choose movement that makes me feel strong and capable.
I choose food choices that support my energy and my future.
I choose the long game… Moving well, thinking clearly, and feeling at home in my body.

Not because it’s easy or perfect every day.
But because I feel better after I show up.

Nothing needs to change overnight.
Big goals are built from small, consistent decisions.

At some point, we all face a choice between staying capable or slowly giving pieces of ourselves away.

I hope you choose yourself.

Are you with me?

Yesterday we celebrated my daughter’s 32nd birthday, and my heart is so full.

Nothing fancy, just being together at her house, eating snacks, playing video games, and soaking up time with the people who matter most.

Me, my daughter, her husband , and my five grandkids.

So simple. So special 💛

The Importance of Having a Coach This Time of Year

Have you ever worked with a coach?

Coaching is not just about motivation or being told what to do.

People work with coaches to regain clarity, rebuild trust in themselves, and feel supported through seasons of change. Some work with coaches in business or relationships. Others seek guidance with their health and fitness when their body no longer feels like “home.”

The start of a new year often brings pressure, comparison, and an urge to fix everything at once. But lasting change does not come from forcing more. It comes from rebuilding a strong, safe foundation in your body and your life.

January is loud. A coach helps you slow down, cut through the noise, and focus on what actually supports your body, your nervous system, and your long-term strength.

This is not about grinding harder or chasing a quick reset. It is about returning to strong in a way that actually lasts.

If you are ready to feel capable, supported, and grounded in your body again, the first step is a Renov8 Readiness Call.

The Importance of Having a Coach This Time of Year

Have you ever worked with a coach?

Coaching isn’t just about motivation or being told what to do.

People work with coaches to regain clarity, rebuild trust in themselves, and feel supported through seasons of change. Some use coaches in business or relationships. Others seek guidance with their health & fitness when their body no longer feels like “home.”

And the start of a new year is often one of those moments.

This season can stir up pressure, comparison, and urgency to “fix everything.” But lasting change doesn’t come from forcing more. It comes from rebuilding a strong, safe foundation in your body and your life.

Here’s why working with the right coach matters right now.

1️⃣ January is loud. Expectations, resolutions, and timelines pile up fast. A coach helps you slow down, cut through the noise, and focus on what actually supports your body, your nervous system, and your long-term strength.

2️⃣ A skilled coach offers grounded, unbiased guidance. Friends and family care deeply, but they don’t have the training, experience, or outside perspective needed to guide sustainable change. Coaching brings clarity, structure, and calm when things feel overwhelming.

3️⃣ A coach helps you return to strength safely. Not just physically, but mentally and emotionally. Through proven systems, intentional progressions, and personalized support, a coach helps you rebuild confidence, resilience, and trust in your body instead of pushing through pain or burnout.

This isn’t about grinding harder or chasing a quick reset.

It’s about returning to strong in a way that actually lasts.

If you’re ready to feel capable, supported, and grounded in your body again, the first step is a Renov8 Readiness Call.

Happy New Year 2026 ✨

Stepping into this new year with gratitude, clarity, and purpose.

2026 marks a powerful new chapter as I’ve officially made the move from California to Nevada. This season feels deeply aligned with the life I’m intentionally building, one rooted in presence, strength, connection, and growth.

Being closer to my grandchildren, imagining the memories we’ll create here, and continuing to evolve my vision for Renov8 Fitness reminds me why health truly matters. Not for aesthetics. Not for numbers. But for living fully and showing up for the moments that matter most.

For now, I’ll continue supporting my clients online while I get grounded in this next chapter, with in-person offerings as needed, and scheduled regularly once I’m settled.

Thank you for being part of this journey with me. I’m excited for what’s ahead and grateful to grow together.

Here’s to a healthy, grounded, and meaningful 2026💛

Strong Looks Different on Every Body

Strong does not have one look. It does not come in a single size, shape, age, or aesthetic. Strong is not defined by visible abs, a number on the scale, or how heavy someone lifts. Strong looks different on every body, and that is something worth celebrating.

Strength can be quiet or bold. It can look like lifting heavy weights, or it can look like showing up consistently when motivation is low. It can be rebuilding after injury, choosing rest when your body asks for it, or learning to trust yourself again after a hard season. Strength can be physical, emotional, mental, or all of the above.

Some bodies are strong because they can run fast or jump high. Others are strong because they have healed, adapted, and kept going through pain, illness, or life changes. Some are strong because they carry children, raise families, or support others while still choosing to care for themselves. Some are strong simply because they refused to give up.

At .fitness, I believe strength is about function, resilience, and self connection. It is about moving in a way that supports your life, not trying to fit into someone else’s definition of what strong should look like. Your strength is valid whether you are just beginning, returning after time away, or pushing toward new performance goals.

The goal is not to look like anyone else. The goal is to feel capable, confident, and supported in your own body. When you honor where you are and work from a place of respect and patience, strength becomes sustainable and empowering.

So if you ever doubt yourself, remember this: Your body does not need to look a certain way to be strong. It already carries its own version of power. And that version is enough.

Packing up a whole life is no joke.

Boxes everywhere. Moving pods. Long days of lifting, bending, organizing, and pushing through to the finish line. Somewhere in the middle of it all, I tweaked my back. Not ideal, and definitely not part of the plan.

But instead of frustration, what I felt most was gratitude.

Grateful for a strong, resilient body. Grateful for years of movement, training, and learning how to listen instead of override. Grateful that my body knows how to communicate, how to heal, and how to reconnect when something feels off.

This is what strength really looks like. Not never getting hurt, but trusting your body enough to slow down, support it, and let it do what it’s designed to do.

Moving has reminded me that fitness isn’t just about workouts. It’s about having a body that supports you, when your life gets big.

Honoring the process. Listening deeply. Healing intentionally.

Saying goodbye to California was not just about leaving a place. It’s about honoring the people who made it home.
binns and I are endlessly grateful for the friendships, laughter, support, and memories we’ve shared. This community has shaped us in ways words can’t fully capture. You showed up for us, celebrated our wins, held us through challenges, and became family along the way.

As we step into this next chapter, we carry every connection with us. Distance may change geography, but it never diminishes love, gratitude, or the bonds we’ve built.

Thank you for being part of our story. This is not goodbye forever. It’s a deep thank you and a see you soon.
