She has had extensive experience in both the Los Angeles and New York communities. A graduate of New York University, she holds a masters degree in Occupational Therapy from NYU’s School of Education. Prior to her work as a handwriting specialist, Jen served as a Pediatric Occupational Therapist in private nursery and elementary schools throughout the New York metropolitan area. There she used var
ious therapeutic interventions that focused on: fine motor skills, visual motor skills, visual perceptual skills, and sensory processing skills. Upon completing her training from the nationally acclaimed Handwriting Without Tears Program, Jen began working as a tutor, on a one-on-one basis, with children who were struggling with handwriting. Finding an overwhelming demand for her services and the potential for significant impact, she has chosen to focus on this particular specialty.
