My name is Zelina and I have a passion for healing and wellness. Coming from a lineage of healers, I discovered my life path after recovering from several health hardships including Lupus, addiction, a back injury and more. In 2007, I found myself stuck in a health and emotional rut. I had been recently diagnosed with Lupus and I felt as though my life and desire to keep living it, was slipping away. My kidneys were failing and my doctor told me that if I didn’t take the medication he was prescribing, I would die. I didn’t know a whole lot about healthcare then, but taking an immunosuppressant drug (a drug that suppresses the immune system) seemed counter intuitive. I started researching Lupus day and night and found that most patients who took those drugs were progressively getting worse, and with newer problems. “There must be another way,” I thought. I found alternative ways of healing and at the urge of my mother I decided to try acupuncture. From that very first treatment, I felt a major shift. My faith in recovering was renewed, I felt as though healing was possible. “Why isn’t everyone doing this?” I thought. I was progressing with each treatment, and combined with food therapy, yoga, meditation, and other forms of therapy; my health was restored. My transformation was quick; my labs were normal after just a year. Acupuncture became my answer to everything, even when I asked myself “what am I doing with my life?” It felt so natural to pursue the healing arts, and my life has changed for the better. Getting healthy was a long and challenging process, but it has been absolutely worth it! As a practitioner, I believe that people have the capacity to heal themselves. Our bodies are amazing works of art that sparkle with energy and functionality and whose self-healing mechanisms can be initiated using the right tools. I also believe in empowering others to become active participants in their recovery. I work by discovering and treating the root cause(s) of disease, which in many cases is/are due to a mind-body-spirit disconnect. Trauma stuck in the body often manifests as pain, discomfort or other health conditions. I often work with folks recovering from trauma, autoimmune conditions, ancestral trauma, mood imbalances and more. I like to combine different forms of therapy such as acupuncture, guided meditation, food therapy, plant medicine and herbs, cupping, moxibustion, movement therapy and anything else I feel someone needs. It is important to understand that healthy is a lifestyle. You matter and how you move through life matters. I am not your typical doctor, I like to listen and I devote my time to you and your healing journey. I have gifts to share and my work is unlike anyone else’s. My goal is to help you look and feel great, to remind you of your POWER and to make you feel seen and heard. I graduated from Southern California University of Health Sciences with my Master’s of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, and completed my Doctorate program at Emperor’s College in March 2018. I completed a Traditional Mexican Medicine course in Oaxaca, Mexico as hosted by the University of New Mexico, a study program at the Yoga Farm in Grass Valley, CA, and countless independent studies in holistic health and spiritual well-being. I am licensed by the California Acupuncture Board.

✨ 1 in 8 women have a thyroid condition

The thyroid is where our throat chakra is located.
The throat chakra is responsible for our voice. Expression.

Is it any wonder that this is so common…
When women’s voices have been suppressed for so long?

Take a look around. Pause.
Observe.
Listen.

When a woman speaks… do you listen?

When you speak… do you listen?

Chronic suppression, stress, and emotional holding can dysregulate the nervous system and impact hormonal balance—including thyroid function.

Ladies, if we want others to treat us better…
It starts with us.

How we treat ourselves.
How we treat each other.

So take care of you.
Honor you.
And honor your sisters.

This is something I go deeper into inside my masterclass—
The connection between stress, expression, hormones, and autoimmune.

Because your voice matters.
And your body reflects that.

Life is heavy right now...Especially for women.

We feel deeply.
We process deeply.
And when we’re unsupported… it shows up in the body.

This is part of why autoimmune is on the rise.

😮 ~50 million people in the U.S. have autoimmune
😮 80% are women

😮 Diagnosis takes ~4.5 years on average

And I see this every single day.

As someone who had lupus…
I know what it feels like to be confused, dismissed, and searching for answers.

And after 20 years of healing, studying, and practicing…
one thing is very clear:

✨ Most people are not addressing the TRUE root cause(s).

Especially the connection between trauma and autoimmune.

So I’m finally bringing this all together…just in time for Lupus Awareness Month

✨ I’m hosting a free 3-part live masterclass series:

Lupus & Autoimmune: Everything You Need To Know

📅 May 6, 13, 20
🕠 5:30 PM PT
📍 Live on Zoom

Where I’ll be teaching:

• The real root causes of autoimmune
• Conventional vs holistic treatment options
• The exact method I use with myself and my clients

This is something I wish I had when I was first diagnosed.

If you’ve been searching for clarity…
this is for you.

✨ The goal isn’t just to feel safe in your body…

It’s to feel safe and alive.

If you are a woman struggling with autoimmune or another chronic health condition, you are likely feeling betrayed by your body.
The pain.
The flares.
The unpredictability of how you’re going to feel every day.
The fear of doing something that may trigger a flare.

I get it.
I’ve been there.

When I had lupus, I was angry with and completely disconnected from my body.
I suffered greatly with pain and other unpleasant symptoms every day.
It made life hard.

When I finally started to reconnect with my body, I started feeling better.
First, I felt safe within my body by establishing consistency and predictability.
Next, I felt alive because I was finally able to do the things I couldn’t before like run and work out and go for hikes.

Nowadays, I continue to focus on creating safety within my body. And doing things that make me feel alive…like dancing, creating, pleasure and more.

If you want to learn how I did it, and how you can too…

✨Join me for my masterclass next month.

✨ I’m finally teaching everything I wish I knew when I was diagnosed.

20 years ago… I was diagnosed with lupus.

Back then, there were no functional medicine doctors.
Very few answers.
Very limited options.

And I had to figure it out the hard (and long) way.

Through:
Years of study
Ancient medicine
Traveling to learn from healers and elders
And my own healing journey

That journey changed my life.

And now… it’s time for me to share it.

Because one of the biggest things missing in this space is this:

👉🏽 The link between trauma and autoimmune

Most doctors are not talking about it.
But it matters.

So I created something for you… just in time for Lupus Awareness Month

✨ A free 3-part live Masterclass Series:

Lupus & Autoimmune: Everything You Need To Know

Inside, I’ll be teaching:
• The real root causes of autoimmune
• Conventional vs holistic treatment options
• The exact method I used to heal myself and now use with my clients

After this, you’ll:
💖 Feel informed and empowered
💖 Understand your options
💖 Have a clear direction forward

This is for the woman who is done guessing…
and ready to understand her body.

✨ The truth about salt 🧂

Salt has been demonized for years.

But the truth is…it’s not the enemy.

Your body actually NEEDS salt.

Salt is essential for:

• Hydration

• Nerve signaling

• Muscle function

• Adrenal and hormone support

• Maintaining proper blood pressure

When you don’t get enough quality salt…

You can feel:

Fatigued

Dizzy

Dehydrated

Crave sugar

Experience poor stress tolerance

Especially for women with autoimmune and chronic stress…

Your body is already depleted.

And removing salt…Can make things worse.

The real issue isn’t salt itself.

It’s the type and the context.

Highly processed foods loaded with refined sodium + chemicals = inflammation

But high-quality mineral-rich salts used intentionally?

Support the body.

Such as:

Unrefined sea salt

Himalayan salt

These contain trace minerals that your body can actually use.

Balance is key.

Too much or too little can both create issues.

This is why personalization matters.

I use salt strategically with my clients to support hydration, adrenal function, and overall balance…especially with autoimmune.

Simple shifts like this can make a big difference.

If you’ve been told to fear salt…

Think twice.

If you want help understanding what YOUR body actually needs,

✨ It’s ok to ask for help

Sometimes life can feel really heavy.

Especially when you’re dealing with a chronic health condition.

I’ve been there.

Trying to hold it all together…

While silently struggling.

When things get really difficult…

It’s ok to ask for help.

Whether it’s someone you trust…

A practitioner who understands you…

Or your angels, your spirit guides, your faith…

Assistance is always available.

Sometimes surrendering to support is the best medicine.

It creates safety.

And safety is what allows the body to soften…

To regulate…

To begin healing.

Isolation keeps the nervous system in survival mode.

Connection helps bring it back to balance.

You don’t have to figure everything out on your own.

You were never meant to.

If you’re needing support right now,

💬 DM me SUPPORT

Your time, energy and attention is your grandest currency
Own it.

In a world of overstimulation…focus and clarity can be hard to attain.

Everything competes for our time and our attention.
Our energy is constantly being siphoned.
We are constantly being sold to.

Because scattered attention keeps your nervous system dysregulated.

And a dysregulated nervous system…

Impacts hormones, immunity, metabolism, and mood.

But when your energy is clear.
Your attention is focused…

You are not easy to control.
You are not easily manipulated.

Focus and presence signal safety to the body.

And when the body feels safe…

It heals.

You can use this energy for yourself.
Your health.
Your family.
Your goals.

Where your attention goes…
Energy flows.

Own your time.
Own your energy.
Own your attention.

Protect your peace like it’s your medicine.

Because it is. ✨
