This week, Midwives from around the world descended on Morocco to kick-off ’s first-ever project.

Over the next two years, these midwife pairs from Uganda +Burundi, Mali + Senegal and Costa Rica + Guatemala will work together on strengthening their respective associations by learning from and collaborating with each other.

During these workshops, we:

🧐 Learnt about Twinning and it’s unique and approach to strengthening midwives’ associations through impactful yet manageable projects

🌎 Learnt about midwifery in each other’s countries

👯 Developed the early stages of our twin projects

💕 Made space for lots of breaks and time to get to know each other — core values of the philosophy
