You’re not broken.

Let’s start there.

Somewhere along the way, accountability stopped being about growth… and started being about blame. What was meant to build trust, connection, and repair has been twisted into something people use to tear each other down.

That’s not accountability.

That’s control.

Real accountability is not about shame. It’s not about proving someone wrong or keeping score. It’s about understanding, repair, and taking responsibility in a way that actually strengthens relationships, not destroys them.
And the truth is… not all accountability is healthy.

In my book Accountability, I break down how to recognize the difference. How to unlearn the harmful versions we’ve been taught. And how to rebuild accountability as a tool that creates safety, honesty, and real growth.

Because again—you’re not broken.
But the system we learned might be.
