Solid Foundation Weight Management, Inc. Weight, Health, & Wellness Day Program serving the Developmentally Disabled

Solid Foundation is currently the only weight management & fitness day program licensed by the state of California dedicated to working with adults with developmental disabilities. Since its beginning in early 2000 the program has successfully implemented into it's program a number of activities with special techniques to achieve moderate to substantial weight loss in over 70% of the attending adults. Our success has supported our continuing growth which enables us to upgrade existing components while adding new and improved ones. Solid Foundation's focus is on weight loss, however it is just one of the many components the program has to offer. We also address many other aspects of a healthy lifestyle affording to each individual consumer the opportunity to fulfill and experience their lifelong goals and aspirations. This is achieved through the use of the individualized exercise groups, which covers components of the program that includes physical strength, & endurance training, nutritional education, diet maintenance, wellness skills, arts & crafts, and monthly outings.
