Funeral Services for Ninfa Alaniz Sauceda. I thank everyone for your thoughts and prayers.

My Aunt Ninfa was such a loving and giving soul, we are missing her deeply. She left us too soon.

Ninfa helped her parents at the Original Alaniz Tortilla Factory, owned Tiffany's Stop and Go and most recently owned DakDoc convenience store in Brownsville's La Famosa Southmost Area.

Empowered Counseling Services Welcomes Our New Counselor, Tania Ramos, M.Ed, LPC-Associate! 🌟

We are excited to introduce Tania Ramos, M.Ed, LPC-Associate, a bilingual (English/Spanish) counselor from South Texas who brings passion, cultural understanding, and years of experience supporting children, teens, and families.

Born in Laredo, Texas, and raised in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico, Tania is a first-generation Latina dedicated to helping individuals reach personal and professional growth. She earned her Master’s in Education (School Counseling) from Texas A&M International University in 2017.

Tania has spent 8 years working with children with disabilities in school settings and 3 years as a School Counselor, supporting students with emotional, behavioral, and learning challenges. She is committed to continuing this work within the community and empowering clients through culturally sensitive, compassionate mental health care.

The Taekwondo Academy suffered a fire in August and requires assistance to reopen the school. Any help would be appreciated even if it’s to share the post.
