✨Celebrate the vibrant energy of Beltane, the ancient May Day fire festival marking the blossoming of spring and the approach of summer.

✨This immersive sound bath invites you to slow down, rest deeply, and reconnect with the fertile, creative energy of the season.

✨Crystal singing bowls, Tibetan bowls, Koshi chimes, and other healing instruments will guide your nervous system into deep relaxation and restoration.

What to expect:
✨Gentle meditation
✨Reflective journaling inspired by Beltane themes of passion, fertility, creativity, and abundance
✨Transformative sound bath with Gaby Castro
✨Enjoy tea and take time to reflect, and share in community.

✨ Please bring a yoga mat, eye pillow, and water. The studio will provide bolsters, blankets, blocks, and straps.

This offering is a gentle invitation to slow all the way down. A practice that is designed to support deep rest, nervous system regulation, and quiet renewal.

You’ll be fully supported in long-held, comfortable poses with props, allowing the body to soften and the mind to unwind. Take time to pause, breathe, and reset—an intentional moment of stillness in the Santa Cruz Mountains.

Enjoy hot tea at the end of practice with us in the studio or on our patio beneath the redwoods. 💕

Blyth Strachman of Premise will be leading another enriching evening of thoughtful dialogue and community connection. We will explore the question, “Does thinking about death lead to a good life?” by examining two selected works; a narrative by Leo Tolstoy and an essay by Virginia Woolf.
“The Death of Ivan Ilyich” by Leo Tolstoy - A narrative of existential crisis, this text invites deep reflection on life’s value as Ivan Ilyich confronts his own mortality. ~30 pages
“The Death of the Moth” by Virginia Woolf - A brief but powerful essay, Woolf’s work uses the image of a moth’s final struggle to explore life’s fragility and the inevitability of death. ~3 pages
Light refreshments will be provided as we engage in open, inclusive conversation in a warm and welcoming setting.
