8 hours of sleep. Still waking up exhausted. You’re not imagining it.
We hear this a lot at our clinic... and it almost always points to something deeper than a bad bedtime routine.
When you’re sleeping 8 hours but still dragging through the day, your body may be dealing with:
→ Sleep apnea (even mild, undiagnosed cases)
→ Circadian rhythm disruption
→ Underlying inflammation or hormone shifts
Sleep quantity and sleep quality are not the same thing. You can technically be “asleep” for 8 hours while your body never hits the deep, restorative stages it actually needs.
