Reopening Announcement!

We are currently planning to reopen our doors for patient visits on Wednesday May 20th, 2020!!

Dear patients and parents,

We hope you are staying safe and healthy during the COVID-19 pandemic! Even though our office has been closed for routine eye exams, we have been working hard to ensure your safety when we open up again. We strive to follow social distancing and safety guidelines from the CDC, American Academy of Ophthalmology, and local public health departments. We understand that you may have concerns about infection control. Here are some new protocols we have put into place for your next appointment:

*Telephone screening
*New check-in procedures/ additional screening when entering office
*Limitation of the number of patients/guests in the office
*Reduction in the length of visits and wait times
*Changes to our waiting room layout
*Extensive cleaning and disinfection of exam rooms and common areas
*Protective equipment for staff and required masks for clients 3 and over
*Telemedicine integrated into visits and for for some non urgent matters
*True HEPA/UVC air filters throughout the office

You will receive more detailed information on what to expect as you confirm your appointment and at your visit.

as of Wednesday 05/13/20 we will be closed for routine appointments thru Tuesday 05/19/2020. if you have a scheduled appointment during that time, you should have already received a personal call from my staff to reschedule to after june 15th. if you missed that call, please call back and leave us a message so we can attempt to reach you again next week to reschedule.

we are planning to have our first patient appointments Wednesday 05/20/20. we plan to remain open after that for both urgent and nonurgent appointments monday thru thursday. if you have an appointment on or after the 20th you will receive a confirmation call several days ahead. please let us know if you need to cancel any appointment 5/20 or after.

if you have an eye emergency, we will make every attempt to have you or your child seen promptly in the office as it is a priority to avoid utilizing the ER and urgent care centers during this high risk time.
