End of Summer Appeal: An Opportunity to Practice Generosity!
As the full days of Summer slowly give way to the hush of autumn, I greet you with love. Each year, this gentle turning of the seasons invites us to slow down, pause, and set our intentions to consciously bring forth our time, energy, and resources to support that which matters most—the fulfillment of dharmic living—living a life of higher purpose.
As spiritual director of Awakening, I have been prayerfully asking, “How can we best serve the growing needs of our community at this time?”. The answer has come in small yet profound ways, offering just the clarity I was seeking.
In addition to our ongoing programs, it is with joy that I introduce our newest offering—a family ministry designed to open our doors and our hearts even wider. As we know, spiritual growth does not occur in isolation. Instead, it is nurtured and sustained in our families and communities which ripples forth into our world.
To cultivate a foundation of compassion and love, our family ministry will begin with a monthly children's program, a weekly meditation circle for caregivers, individual spiritual support for parents, and more. A divine unfolding!
Thanks to your ongoing generosity, Awakening Meditation Center continues to serve as a beacon of peace during uncertain times. The teachings and practices of Kriya Yoga offered here at Awakening have and continue to touch and transform many lives, including my own.
