Dar a Luz is excited to announce the expansion of our lactation services to better support families in their feeding journeys 🩵

We now offer consultations 7 days a week for anyone needing help with breast, chest, or bottle-feeding with our expert International Board Certified Lactation Consultants (IBCLC). Swipe to meet our newest IBLCLCs at DAL! They’ll be joining our incredible DAL lactation team - Stephanie, Robin, and Claire 🫶🏽

Whether you’re facing issues like low milk supply, ni**le pain, pumping challenges, preparing to return to work, or your baby is experiencing latch difficulty, weight concerns, or feeding complications, we’re here to help!

Appointments are 1.5 hours for new clients and 1 hour for follow-ups.

We accept most insurance plans, including BCBS, Presbyterian, United, Molina, Tricare, GEHA, and ALL Medicaid and Turquoise Health plans.

✨Let us introduce our new birth class “Your Birth Illuminated”✨

✨ Your Birth Illuminated (YBI) is taught by Jaelan Mincey with New Life Birth Services. Combining evidence-based information with interactive group and couple exercises, YBI empowers participants to make choices that fit their unique needs and circumstances. Through thoughtful discussions and practical tools, parents will gain a deep understanding of physiological birth and strategies for navigating the unexpected. Emphasis is given to building confidence in facing the physical and emotional challenges of birth and early parenthood with resilience. Partners are encouraged to attend every class, fostering a supportive environment and building confidence together.

✨Did you know Dar a Luz only requires one ultrasound? ✨

✨Listed below are reasons the midwife may request additional ultrasounds to gather more information.

1. You don’t know when your last period was or you have irregular cycles and we need to date the pregnancy
2. You have bleeding and we are concerned about the viability of the pregnancy
3. Your uterus is measuring significantly bigger or smaller than what we would expect for where you’re at in pregnancy
4. You are close to giving birth and we think your baby might be breech
5. There is a health concern with one of the major structures of baby’s anatomy that we are following
