Happy birthday to two Moonlight baby boys who decided to come just four minutes apart this morning!! 💙🩵These two mamas had due dates almost five full weeks apart 😯 Thankfully this has been the only time in six years we had two babies on the same day and we were unable to make it to both.

I got the second call while the mama I was with was about to start pushing and had to call a backup midwife in her area to get to the other mama. We are so thankful we have other midwives we can call in these situations! stepping in for us!! With a precipitous first time labor we were grateful for another option 💓

Both mamas did an absolutely incredible job bringing their babies here and both families are doing well! Full hearts today, but always a bummer when we can’t be two places at once.

Happy birthday baby girl! You made your mama wait longer and work extra hard to get you here but we are so happy you made your arrival!! 💓

First time labors and births are usually long and hard! We applaud all of the first time mothers choosing midwifery care and homebirth for their first pregnancy and labor 👏🏻👏🏻 And we love seeing how supportive these first time fathers can be!
