Community building happens when we join together under a common cause. In today's instant gratification world we long for connection the most.

While social media can introduce us to one another..... it can't truly connect us.

Connections happen best in person.

Do you miss sitting on the porch, sharing stories?

What if we slowed down long enough to actually sit with and talk with our neighbors?

My look when my athletes tell me they can skip breakfast.

“I have no time for breakfast, coach! “

Breakfast is important to you performance later in the day. Without breakfast you are setting yourself up for binging later.

Binging close to practice makes you sluggish and prone to injury.

Eating a protein based breakfast keeps you fuller longer and kicks that metabolism into gear.

Truly don’t have time?

Try these:

Protein drink (make a dry shaker the night before-add ice water in the morning)

Have hard boiled eggs on hand

Make egg cups on a weekend to last all week. Freeze and take out in the morning. Pop in microwave and you’re golden.

Make overnight oats and eat on the way to school.

Get resourceful and stay in the game.
