Sanibel House is a Kentucky-licensed residential Alcohol or Other Drug Entity (AODE) and Behavioral Health Services Organization (BHSO) facility. Addiction Recovery Care currently operates five other residential substance abuse treatment facilities in Kentucky, two for men and three for women, and is nationally accredited for residential addiction treatment by CARF. Sanibel House will provide clie
nts with over twenty (20) hours of clinical programming weekly, with counseling provided by licensed counselors and peer support groups led by state-certified peer support specialists. State-certified case managers will work with each client to improve their recovery environment by addressing family, educational, housing, and vocational needs. Medical care will be provided at Sanibel House, with each client seeing a nurse practitioner weekly for their medical needs. Sanibel House’s medical staff is supervised by an American Board of Addiction Medicine certified physician, Dr. Michael Fletcher. Highway 23 in Catlettsburg in an 1847 Italian antebellum home, on the historic Levi Hampton estate. The home has been updated in the style of a modern treatment center, while maintaining the custom elements of the home, which includes a total of eight fireplaces.
