Most heart disease is driven by risk factors people can know and manage: high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and elevated blood sugar. Knowing your heart numbers isn't about being perfect - it's about being informed.

UK King’s Daughters and Three Rivers Medical Center are partnering to provide free Healthy Heart with EKG screenings to help you identify risk factors and arm you with the knowledge you need to take better care of your heart.

The screening includes checks of your blood pressure, total cholesterol, and blood sugar. We'll also check your oxygen levels and perform a screening EKG, which can detect changes that may reveal certain heart conditions.

SCHEDULE YOUR FREE SCREENING TODAY!
❤️ 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. WEDNESDAY, FEB. 25
❤️ Lawrence County Library, 102 W. Main St., Louisa
❤️ Onboard the UK King's Daughters Mobile Health Unit

Appointments are required.

📲 Call (606) 408-9304
🗓️ For your appointment
📝If we don't answer, please leave your name, daytime phone number, and the date/location of the screening you want to schedule. We will call you back with your appointment time.

After your screening, take our free, confidential, online HeartAware Risk Assessment to learn more about your numbers and steps you can take to reduce your risk: https://bit.ly/49Shk4e

More than 600,000 people nationwide die from heart disease each year, and is one of the leading causes of death in the state of Kentucky, according to the CDC. Increasing your physical activity can help prevent and manage heart disease. Getting at least 30 minutes of moderate physical activity 3 times per week can put you at a lower risk for heart disease, lower blood pressure and improve your cholesterol levels.
