⭐We are excited to announce our January Employee of the Month: Crystal Clapper⭐

Crystal has been a CNA for many years. She started as an agency aide, helped multiple buildings during COVID, then decided to set some roots in Louisa as one of our full time CNA's. She is known as a very patient, kind, and caring team member on our Skilled unit. She has helped multiple patients get back on their feet and doubles down and focuses on what is the most important thing for each patient. She is not afraid to take on tough cases, and is often a mentor for new CNA's joining our building. Organized, caring, and patient, she is often known for taking care of what needs to be done and doing it well.

It is our pleasure to announce Barbara Turner as our December employee of the month!!!

She has been a cook with us for a few months but has made an immediate impact in our kitchen... She is fun, caring, and willing to go the extra mile to help anyone at any time... her meals are filled with great flavors, wonderful presentation, and the patience to make it special for each and every resident, especially the purées and special diets.

Barbara is not afraid to go out into the dining room and ask for real-time feedback. She shows how she cares through the meals she prepares, and we are so grateful for her.

Thank you, Barbara, for all you do to make all of our days brighter and our waistlines a little tighter with the delicious food!

We're just a short drive from Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital and have been proudly serving the Louisa community since 1984. We also serve patients in the greater Louisa area including Mineral, Trevilians, Cuckoo, and more.

We offer comfortable, modern gathering spaces, Wi-Fi throughout the building, and bright, well-lit rooms. Our state-of-the-art rehabilitation gym is constantly being updated with the most advanced rehabilitation equipment, ensuring the best recovery possible.

At Louisa Health & Rehabilitation Center, we’re proud to be part of the communities we serve. We’re involved in many local charities and events including blood drives, mammogram screenings, and the annual Relay for Life.
