Welcome Dr. Herst to the Louisburg community! You can schedule an appointment with Dr. Herst most Mondays or Thursdays at Hunter Family Vision in Louisburg.

Outside of the office, Dr. Herst enjoys spending time with his wife, Madeleine, two young children, and their spirited Irish Setter. He’s an avid outdoorsman and can often be found fly fishing, golfing, cycling, climbing, or camping whenever time allows.

Dr. Tomasu enjoys spending time with friends and family, exercising, and watching sports. He is a big Jayhawk fan and also has fun cheering on the Royals.

Exciting News for Our Patients!

We’re pleased to share that Andrew J. Hill, O.D., P.A. has been acquired by Hunter Family Vision, a practice with strong family ties to Miami and Linn Counties, including right here in Louisburg.

The transition will take place on July 15, 2025. Dr. Hill will continue caring for patients as part of the Hunter Family Vision team. This change will allow our Louisburg office to expand its products and services, bringing even more options to our valued patients.

We are excited about this new chapter and look forward to continuing to provide the highest level of eye care to Louisburg and the surrounding communities.
