Our friends at the Kentucky Autism Training Center are hosting a series of free trainings for first responders in Bowling Green.
Attendees will learn:
✅ Characteristics of autism and how interactions may be impacted
✅ How to engage, respond to, and interact with autistic individuals
✅ Communication and de-escalation strategies
✅ Local, state, and national autism resources
The training is designed for all first responders, search & rescue teams, school resource officers, and crisis support teams.
