Between the 2nd Division LMPD Annual Night Out and the Shepphard Park Communuty Reunion events, Home Away from Home Therapeutic Center LLC gave out 127 back to school bags filled with school supplies for Elementary, Middle, and High School students.

Melinda Haynes is a compassionate mental health professional dedicated to helping individuals and families navigate life’s challenges. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a focus on Crisis Counseling, a Master’s in Human Services with a focus on Marriage and Family, and a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health.

Her expertise includes addressing anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges while focusing on developing skills in diagnosis, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions. Melinda primarily utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and psychotherapy/talk therapy to empower her clients, fostering personal growth, resilience, and lasting change.
