Happy Holidays from THR Pediatrics!!! The office will be open a half day tomorrow (New Year’s Eve), closed on New Year’s Day (Thursday) and the day after (Friday). If you have a medical emergency, please go to your nearest ICC or ER. Have a safe and wonderful time with family and friends🎊❤️.

THR Pediatrics is currently on a “freeze” with NEW PATIENTS until January 2026. If you have a newborn with siblings that are already established patients, I will take them. I’m so sorry for the inconvenience but I’m having problems with scheduling considering I’m the only provider. Thank you so much for your support and understanding❤️

Parents: The office will be closed for the rest of the week due to VACATION TIME. If you have an emergency, please go to the ICC or ER. I will have the phone on during regular business hours if you have an emergency or need prescription refills. Call your pharmacy first, request refills, and they will fax the request to me directly. The wait is OVER…THR Peds will begin accepting new patients tomorrow. Please read in detail before you call the office. The phones (502-749-8019 or 502-709-0940) roll over by 9:30am, lunch daily between 2-3pm, and we take the last appointment for the day at 4:15pm. We no longer do weekends (too many no call/no shows). On most days/weeks, we have same day sick visits and same week well-child checks/physicals. Before your appointment: If you have Medicaid, call your servicer and change your P*P; if you have Private or Commercial insurance, this is not required for a PPO. If you have an HMO Private insurance, please call them to make sure we’re in your network. We will need your medical records before you’re allowed to make an appointment from your previous Pediatrician. Once you request them (usually in writing), you can call and let us know you’ve made the request, we will add your child to our system, and once they arrive you will be able to schedule their first visit. If you’re coming from an office that has closed and unable to obtain your records, I will need an immunization record at the minimum (drawer, file cabinet, school/infinite campus, daycare, etc.). Hello THR Peds Parents: Please do not like or respond to this message because this is solely FYI. If you have an outstanding bill, someone from our office will be contacting you this week to accept payments, receive new or different insurance information in order to rebill, and/or set up payment plans. If you do not pay, set up payment arrangements, and/or make corrections to your insurance account within 30 working days (February 17th), your child will be dismissed from the practice unfortunately. Even if your child is no longer a patient, your bill will still need to be resolved or it will be sent to collections starting February 17th. Some insurances do not cover certain services even on well child checks (CBC, Urine, and questionnaires). If you have further questions, please feel free to contact the office between 9:30a-5:30p (lunch 2-3p) at 502-749-8019. Thanks!

Due to inclement weather THR Pediatrics will be closed TUESDAY as well. We plan to open WEDNESDAY for normal business hours. If you have an appointment on the day we’re closed, someone will call you to reschedule your appointment. If you have an emergency or a medical problem that can’t wait, please go to the nearest ICC or ER. If you have a medical problem that can be handled over the phone, please feel free to contact the office at 502-749-8018 or 502-709-0940 and I will be available during normal business hours. Quick explanation: Please don’t freak out🤦🏽‍♀️ We have over 2000 patients and I promised myself to stop at 2000 to regroup. It’s just me and I don’t want to sacrifice quality for quantity (easy to do in this field). I will review my charts, w**d out who’s not an active patient, and open my enrollment back up in January (or sooner). It’s a blessing to be in this position and I don’t take it lightly or for granted❤️I want to make sure my craft stays perfected without burning out or giving poor service in the process from being over worked🤦🏽‍♀️😳. Please be patient with me😔❤️This was a VERY hard decision because I want to care for EVERYONE’S baby❤️
