Hiking Club is back- with a twist! Middle and high schoolers of all abilities are invited to join us at the Louisville Nature Center on Saturday, October 4th for a laid back hike with bird watching!

Outside the Box Therapy is looking for a community engagement intern! This is a volunteer position and is a great resume builder for a student or other aspiring professional within, but not limited to, the fields of marketing or nonprofit work. We've been quiet this winter, but we are so excited that spring is right around the corner, because that means Forest Fridays inclusive play groups are back!

Join us this spring for inclusive play groups at Jefferson Memorial Forest. These groups are for 3-6 years olds of all abilities, and are led by amazing therapists who are experts in child development and sensory processing.

Fall might be the best time of year for hiking, so come give it a try! High School Hiking Club is back for our fall session, on Tuesday September 24th, 4:30-5:30pm. This group is open to middle and high scholers age 14-21, of ALL abilities. We are excited to hike on the new accessible trail at Jefferson Memorial Forest! Forest Fridays are back! Fall sessions will be held the last Friday of each month, 3:00-4:30pm at Jefferson Memorial Forest. This group is for pre-schoolers age 2-6 years old, and siblings in the same age range are welcome to join the fun! Fall dates are:
- Friday September 27th
- Friday October 25th
- Friday November 22nd

Thanks to generous support from WHAS Crusade for Children, we are able to offer reduced registration rates for these programs!
Cost: $25 per day or $60 for all three days in the fall session.

Financial assistance is also available for families who qualify. We can't wait to see our friends back in the forest!

Summer is warming up so we have moved High School Hiking Club to the morning to beat the heat! Our next hike is coming up soon on TuesdayJune 25th, at Cherokee Park from 10-11am.
