Our hearts are with Louisville today.
The recent UPS plane tragedy has impacted families, coworkers, and an entire community in ways that words can barely capture.

At MindFest, we believe in standing with people through their hardest moments.
We’re keeping every victim, every loved one, every first responder, and everyone affected in our thoughts tonight. 💛

If you’re grieving, feeling heavy, or just trying to make sense of everything - we see you, and we’re holding space for you.
Please check in on your friends, your neighbors, and yourself. Louisville is strong, but no one should have to be strong alone.

We’re thrilled to welcome Dr. Lauren Flaherty, a neuropsychology fellow, researcher, and founder of PhrenD™ — an app created to support individuals experiencing cognitive impairment due to conditions like early dementia, brain injury, stroke, trauma, or post-COVID brain fog.

Dr. Flaherty brings a holistic and research-based approach to treatment, providing neuropsychological assessments and therapy for patients of all ages. With a passion for community wellness, her work particularly focuses on addressing cognitive issues disproportionately impacting the African American community.

Join us in welcoming Kathryn Cowart, a licensed professional clinical counselor with over 15 years of experience in mental health counseling and program leadership.

Kathryn currently serves as Chief Programs Officer at JFCS and has a rich background in trauma-informed care, art therapy, and clinical supervision. Her work supports children, families, and communities in their healing journeys across Kentucky.

At MindFest 2025, Kathryn will lead a gentle yoga session designed to center the mind, body, and spirit — creating space for mindfulness, breath, and balance.
