As I take a moment to sit down and reflect, I am overcome with emotion. Tonight, my devoted staff and our precious residents are struggling to cope with the pain of loss. The passing of two of our precious residents in under 24 hours has left us reeling. As we approach the 19th anniversary of the opening of BeeHive Homes of Louisville this November, I am reminded of the profound impact we have had on the lives of countless individuals. Each resident has brought unique gifts of wisdom and empathy, forever changing the lives of those who have cared for them. While the relentless cycle of loss can be draining, I find comfort in the knowledge that our care has brought joy, comfort, and meaning to the lives of our residents in their final years and moments. I invite you to join me in offering a silent prayer for the families of our departed residents, who have become an integral part of our family, as well as for our devoted staff and cherished residents.
