2025 was a year of growth, love, and solidarity. We are deeply grateful to have officially spent half a decade fulfilling our mission: providing high-quality healthcare to the vulnerable adults in our community through a holistic and multicultural approach that meets their individual needs.

As we approach the transition from fall to winter, the fear of slipping on ice can cause many seniors to limit their movement. However, the counterintuitive truth is that the more a senior limits their physical activity out of fear of falling, the more likely they are to actually fall. Avoiding physical activity allows their muscles to weaken and joints to stiffen.

At Buena Vida, we provide our members with the space, time, and supervision they need to meet all their physical needs while staying warm and in great company!

A medida que nos acercamos a la transición del otoño al invierno, el miedo a resbalar en el hielo puede hacer que muchos adultos mayores limiten su movimiento.
