How sweet it is! Please join us in celebrating a truly momentous occasion. Last week, we helped the gorgeous, radiant Frances M. celebrate her 105th birthday! Our talented dining staff baked her a scrumptious chocolate cake, and we served it with Frances’ favorite ice cream, mint chocolate chip! We think that smile says it all. What an amazing lady. Happy birthday, Frances!

Everyone ended up a winner at our Golden Summer Casino Happy Hour! The stakes were low but the fun, food, and entertainment were elevated sky high!
Our Dining Department, Marketing Department, and Life Enrichment Department all teamed up to bring our residents and our invited guests an afternoon jam packed with casino themed food, drinks, and games, including our famous Human Slot Machine! 🎰🎲

Led by our Life Enrichment Director Matt, our residents painted “Fireflies in the Moonlight” during our July Paint and Sip class. “I don’t have talent. I can’t do this,” quickly became, “I had no idea I could do this!” during the class as some of these lovely ladies discovered talents they didn’t know they had. We knew they could do it!

Our recent Legacy Lane Family Night Cook Out was a big success! This past week was a stormy one, but luckily the rain eased up long enough for our staff to fire up the grill and treat our residents and their family members to a fantastic spread of summer time cookout favorites. Yum!

Did you know that Trilogy Health Services has a fantastic program called “Live a Dream”? Live A Dream is funded by the Trilogy Community Foundation, providing seniors with the opportunity to dream again. What does that mean? That means anyone who lives here at The Willows at Springhurst is eligible to submit their dream for consideration. The latest resident to receive their dream is “CJ”.

CJ has spent most of his life as a professional landscaper, and since moving to the Willows at Springhurst, he has longed for an opportunity to put his skills, knowledge, and talent to use again. This month, CJ was allotted his very own corner of our Assisted Living courtyard to landscape to his liking. He and our Life Enrichment Director took a trip to The Home Depot where he chose several perennial plants to arrange. Later, utilizing his expertise, CJ arranged the plants and then supervised them as they were planted in the ground. Since then, he has taken care of them and seen to their upkeep.

CJ's garden has brought him a sense of purpose, wellbeing, and joy. He hopes it can bring you some joy too. If you visit our campus, please take a moment to visit our courtyard and explore it.

At Trilogy, we’re more than just coworkers, we are united, we are family. Somos familia! We are one. Somos uno!

This week, our campus came together to celebrate two of our amazing Environmental Services team members as they prepare to welcome their little ones into the world! 🎉🍼

We threw a special baby shower for Marquis, who’s expecting a baby girl 💕, and Elianis, who’s expecting a baby boy 🚼. From handmade cupcakes to a gift table overflowing with love, every detail was a reflection of how much we care for each other.

At Trilogy, creating a culture of support, honoring cultures and backgrounds, and community isn’t just something we talk about, it’s something we live every day. Whether it’s showing up for our residents or our fellow team members, we believe in lifting each other up through every chapter of life.

Congratulations, Marquis and Elianis, we can’t wait to meet your little bundles of joy! 👶🎀🎁
