Finally! 🙌🏼

We received Violet’s medical safe bed, and my mama heart can finally breathe a little easier. 💛

Until this bed was approved, Violet was still sleeping in a crib with a safety net. Because of her hypotonia related to Down syndrome, she wasn’t able to safely lower herself out of the crib on her own. If she climbed out without the net, it often resulted in falls, bumps, bruises, and scary moments no parent wants to experience.

Violet is incredibly smart and determined, but she still lacks some safety awareness, so transitioning her to a regular toddler bed just wasn’t a safe option for her.

This bed gives her the independence and comfort of a “big girl bed” while also providing the safety and security she truly needs. Knowing she can sleep safely and comfortably brings so much peace to our family.

We are beyond grateful for this blessing and for everyone who helped make it possible. 💙💛

Violet had her follow-up with cardiology, and our heart warrior continues to amaze us. Everything is healing beautifully, and we’ll continue with checkups every two years. She did incredible during her echo and ECG. So brave through it all.

We are beyond grateful for her strong, resilient heart and the strength she shows every single day. ❤️

Violet is wrapping up her first year of preschool, and we couldn’t be more proud of how far she’s come! She’s grown in so many ways this year and truly loves going to school. We’ve been working hard on counting to 10, and she’s doing such a great job.

Today, on Good Friday, we pause and remember the greatest act of love the world has ever known. Jesus willingly gave His life. Not because we deserved it, but because His love is endless, unconditional, and full of grace. How blessed are we?

In my own life, I see His blessings so clearly in Violet. She is a beautiful reminder of God’s perfect love and purpose. With her extra chromosome comes an extra measure of joy, light, and love. Proof that God’s creations are INTENTIONAL and wonderfully made. She is not just a blessing; she is a living testimony of His grace.
