I get asked a lot about Fibromyalgia, Myofacial Pain Syndrome, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Graves Disease, Hashimotoes, Transverse Myelitis, Supraventricular Tachycardia, Facet Arthritis, HLA-B27, EDS, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Sleep Apnea, Tinnitis, PMDD, migraines, IBS, (Lupus MS and MM they keep repeating tests) are a lot of coexisting conditions I have..I think the thing we need to focus on is not what the name of it is. We need to figure out what works for each of us to help live a better life.
We do need to know that to get the treatment we need, so we need to have a good medical team and support system in place. However the goal is to get better or to be as healthy as we can be and in the least amount of pain as possible and to do the things we need and want to do. We also need to do that without guilt, negativity or repercussions we don't deserve. If you want my advice after 32 years of dealing with it and a long list of other issues (the others are more widely known), just ask. The ones I listed are the ones most people don't know or understand. I do not know everything and neither do the drs, but I have tried a LOT of things! I just had dental surgery last week so I am recuperating and in a lot of additional pain, but I can talk when my pain goes down. I am always here if you need help. I believe we are in this life to help one another. God bless. Hugs and prayers. I have considered making a page just for this. Let me know if you are interested. I have discussed these things with so many people in the last 3 decades. The post concussive syndrome gives me good and bad days with memory, concentration and focus. I do so much better when I am 'teaching , learning, and on a semi set schedule with periodic breaks. Trying to set that up for myself even with the girls are not here.
