Retinol is one of those things everyone’s heard of… but most people aren’t using it in a way that actually works for their skin.

Here’s the truth:
Retinol helps speed up cell turnover → smoother texture, more even tone, fewer breakouts, softer lines over time.

But the type of retinol matters.

Prescription tretinoin is strong. For some people, it’s amazing. For a lot of people… it’s irritating, hard to stay consistent with, and ends up getting used once a week (or not at all).
