Pride, Dignity and Service in Action at Thunder Over Louisville 🇺🇸

At PDS Optical our mission is to serve those who have served us. This past Saturday, we had the distinct honor of hosting a group of Veterans and several esteemed Veteran Service Organizations at the Kentucky Derby Festival's Thunder Over Louisville.

It was a privilege to share the day with partners dedicated to the Veteran community, including: Honor Flight Network, USA Cares, Inc., Team Red, White & Blue, Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS), Honor Flight Bluegrass and Derby City Dynamite.

Despite challenging weather, the spirit of the day remained bright. Between the awe-inspiring air show and the largest fireworks display in America, the real highlight was the opportunity to build personal relationships and create lasting memories with Veterans and other guests.

Giving back to this community is more than a goal; it is a core value. We are already looking forward to our next opportunity to support and connect with our nation’s heroes!

We are really excited about this weekend's Thunder Over Louisville celebration and the community of Veterans and other Veteran Service Organizations that will be joining us.

Thank you to Vision Monday for sharing our story and the lasting memories that we aim to create for those who sacrificed so much for our country.

Marylu is a talented travel optician, navigating different cities, VA hospitals and clinics.

She loves meeting and working with different colleagues, doctors and Veteran patients at the various VA hospitals she supports.

For almost three decades, PDS Optical has been dedicated to providing high-quality, affordable, or free prescription eyewear to US Veterans, enrolled in the VA health care system.
