Finally looked up the symbols that have been haunting my psyche (and my coffee grinds lately 😂) I knew it was water. I studied Chinese before in university, so, I already knew from the word ài which means love or to love, the common symbol Americans get tattoos of. It contains the root character shuǐ meaning water. It also makes up heart, if I’m not mistaken. Water has long been anciently understood as connecting to emotions and energy vibrations (think magnetic aura fields of the human body, or of any living organism, even mountains).
