Highlands Nursing and Rehabilitation We provide a warm, welcoming environment and highly individualized skilled nursing care. Our Care Team is specially-trained to work with seniors.

Located in Louisville, Kentucky, Highlands Nursing & Rehabilitation offers compassionate 24-hour Skilled Nursing care in our 154-bed facility. We listen, we understand, and develop personal therapy and care programs designed to maximize your abilities and life. This includes assisting with daily living activities and skills, such as balance training, medication management, IV therapy, and diabetes management. Should you need support services, know that we can arrange everything from mental health consultations to x-rays, lab work to podiatry services, as well as private home and hospice care.

Highlands Nursing & Rehabilitation is proud to share Paul’s Success Story! 💙

When Paul first arrived at Highlands Nursing & Rehabilitation, he needed additional support as he worked toward regaining his independence. He was added to both Occupational and Physical Therapy and quickly committed himself to the rehabilitation process.

Paul participated in therapy every day, never missing a session, and consistently worked diligently toward his goals. His determination and strong work ethic paid off—he made steady progress and rebuilt his strength and mobility.

Today, Paul is ambulating with confidence and is on the verge of returning home. His journey is a wonderful example of what dedication, consistency, and a supportive care team can accomplish.
