This past Saturday evening, Tim and I had the pleasure of attending the Twisted Pink Gala. For those who haven't heard of Twisted Pink, it's a non-profit founded by the remarkable Caroline Johnson in 2014 to provide better access to care for people living with metastatic breast cancer. FYI- there is currently not a cure. 😞 The Twisted Pink Gala was one of the most moving events I have ever attended. I was humbled by the strength of these ladies fighting an endless battle. I was inspired by their determination to live life to the fullest. I hope and pray that in the face of adversity, I always remember the spirit of those beautiful ladies out on the dance floor! Saturday night spoke to my heart and reminded me of a promise I made years ago always to use God’s blessing to help others. I firmly believe that each of us has a calling to give, be it time, money, prayer, a listening ear, etc. I challenge each of our followers and friends to answer your calling.
