Hi me again! I recently started Feelz Mental Health as a holistic psychiatric medication management service and would like to share a little bit about myself. I am a Louisville, KY native. I graduated from Manual High School '04. I received Post Secondary education from: University of Louisville '11, Bachelor of Science Nursing (BSN) and Eastern Kentucky University (EKU) '22 Master of Science Nursing (MSN). I worked as a Critical Care Nurse for 11 years before graduating from EKU’s MSN program. Three of those 11 years I worked locally at Norton Hospital. The remaining 8 years I worked in Tucson, Los Angeles and Santa Barbara. June of 2022 I became a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
I started EKU’s MSN program pre-COVID but my experiences during COVID ignited my passion for mental health. Working at the bedside during COVID I witnessed overwhelming feelings of stress, anxiety, suffering and depression in my peers, my patients and myself. For those who work in healthcare who have experienced and/or continue to experience mental anguish, I would love to work with you and see if I can help! I am offering special pricing to all healthcare workers, teachers, first responders and military personnel. The patients I serve are not limited to those mentioned. My only hope to is to reach those who are thinking about seeking treatment and making it a smooth and underwhelming process.
