Today, the American College of Physicians filed a lawsuit with the American Academy of Pediatrics, American Public Health Association, Infectious Diseases Society of America, Massachusetts Public Health Alliance, Society for Maternal Fetal Medicine, and a pregnant physician, against the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and Secretary Kennedy to stop unlawful changes to vaccine policy, defend public health, and to put an end to the assault on science, public health and evidence-based medicine: https://bit.ly/40E2GZa

The American College of Physicians (ACP) is highly concerned and outraged about today’s announcement from the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) dismissing all 17 members of the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP). Kentucky Chapter Governor Jenny Olges is in Washington D.C. this week for ACP Leadership Day 2025. We are advocating for Medicare physician payments, the protection of Medicaid and the protection and support for public health including CDC and NIH.
